Blueprints Ready. Future Bright.
Our visionary plans will bring grades 6-12 together on one campus, fostering seamless curriculum alignment and programming that enhances St. Andrew’s four pillars, enriching the educational experience for every student.
Once fundraising for our Athletics Complex & Student Union is complete, we will embark on creating this transformative Middle School and STEM Center. This relocation is more than a physical move — it’s a bold step toward elevating academic excellence, innovation, and community. Discover why this new chapter will redefine what’s possible for our students.
Elevating Innovation & Collaboration through St. Andrew’s New STEM Center
At St. Andrew’s we have a unique opportunity in our new STEM Center to incorporate our Four Pillars – Scholar, Artist, Athlete, and Servant—into a dynamic STEM curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. Our vision is to create an inspiring space where students explore not only immediate solutions, but also the broader impact of their work, preparing them to make meaningful contributions to the world around them.
Spotlight on Experiential Education
At St. Andrew’s, education is more than academics; it is an immersive journey that extends beyond
the classroom. Rooted in our mission to develop curious, courageous, and compassionate global
citizens, our programs integrate experiential learning with hands-on opportunities that connect
students to the natural world and their community. Whether investigating local ecosystems,
cultivating sustainable practices, or engaging in service projects, St. Andrew’s students deepen
their understanding of conservation, sustainability, and their role as stewards of the environment.
A Revolution in Learning.
Picture an expansive 64,000 sq. ft. designed to inspire and empower our students, featuring: optimized classrooms for dynamic learning, cutting-edge fine arts spaces including a black box theater, a premier 6-12 STEM Center driving innovation, and versatile indoor and outdoor areas that ignite creativity, collaboration, and lasting connections.
More Room for STEM Exploration.
Every inch of our new STEM Center — from makerspaces and design labs to a CNC room and beyond — is purposefully designed to ignite curiosity, spark innovation, and empower the next generation of pioneers. By leveraging St. Andrew’s unique ability to engage the broader Austin community, we will integrate real-world expertise into our STEM and experiential education program, transforming these cutting-edge spaces into hubs of collaboration, discovery, and limitless potential.
"This 3-5 year plan shows a sense of urgency. It shows that we’ve been watching, observing, and listening to what happens at both campuses. It represents our commitment to continuous improvement without losing momentum. Moving the Middle School to Southwest Parkway will be transformative for our students and teachers. By having Upper School students on the same campus, Middle School students will get an amazing look at their future at St. Andrew’s by seeing their older peers engage in advanced STEM classes, high-level literary analysis, and spectacular theater productions. It also will allow our teachers to collaborate more frequently, enhancing the educational experience for everybody on campus. This plan is about giving students what they need to succeed."
Dr. Steven Fletcher, Head of Upper School
The Raise The Roof campaign is a pivotal endeavor, crucial to equipping our children for future success. In a world where technology and competition are constantly advancing, state-of-the-art facilities become essential. They will offer our students the opportunity to excel academically, athletically, artistically, and as servants for others. Our focus is not only on today’s needs, but creating a legacy for the next twenty years. This campaign is about attracting and nurturing the best talent out there, providing all of our students with an exceptional educational experience.

"The Athletics Complex and Student Union is a transformative investment in our community. This space will dramatically enhance student quality of life by offering flexible practice schedules, the ability to host tournaments, and the ability to compete with home field advantage. Beyond athletics, these facilities serve everyone's well-being and self-care, fostering community spirit and injury prevention. The union is a vibrant space for students, alumni, and parents alike, symbolizing our commitment to past, present, and future community members."
Melissa Grubb, Head of School
"The relocation of the Middle School to Southwest Parkway opens a world of limitless opportunities. We will enjoy state-of-the-art shared facilities, fostering a vibrant and connected community. This move creates unique leadership opportunities for our older students while offering mentorship to the younger ones. It also provides a platform for our advanced younger students to be intellectually challenged and engaged in an entirely new way."
